Everyone is always telling me via the old adage I will find love at the moment that I am not looking for it. I am not sure this is possible for a couple of reasons.
1. I don’t know that I have ever been looking as I have progressed through undergrad, grad school, and the indentured servitude that I call my job. I kind of do my thing and dating kind of just happens.
2. I don’t know that I have ever been not looking. I love meeting people and getting to know them in a non-naked sketchy sense for the most part. I also somehow have made it to the year 2011 believing in the fairytale even though I have attempted to stuff it way back in the deepest recesses of my conscious (how that happened I will never be able to explain). I can’t help but hope that some guy will approach me after dismounting from his white horse/volvo and sweep me away to a land of ridiculous humor and intellectual banter. Unrealistic? You betcha!
So the purpose is to keep track of my follies and if anyone out there in cyberspace would like to follow along then the more the merrier. You will all be virtually invited if I ever do find love, fabulous laughter, and someone who pushes and inspires me.
